Press Release Summary: Highland Enterprise has built more than 500 homes throughout southwestern Pennsylvania, taking pride in its head-turning exteriors and well-designed floor plans.

Press Release Body: When a Peters Township couple purchased a lot in Sienna Woods to build their 6,000-square-foot dream home, they knew exactly which custom home builder they wanted: Highland Enterprises Inc.
It was an easy decision.

Second-generation home builders Tim and James Corbett, whose father, James W. (Bill), started Highland Enterprise Inc. 54 years ago, built the couple\'s first home in North Strabane Township eight years earlier - leaving champagne for the newlyweds after completing the house while they were on their honeymoon - and were hired by the pair two years later to finish the basement.

\"As soon as we found out we could use any builder we wanted in the plan, it was a no-brainer. We wanted them,\" said the stay-at-home mother of two. \"Tim Corbett would always say, \'We can do anything you want to do.\' He was extremely flexible and always available to us, and he always had a lot of ideas for what we should do. He had a vision of what the house should look like, and also listened to our ideas.\"

The Corbetts\' attention to detail from the planning stage through completion, their commitment to quality workmanship and materials and the rapport they build with customers have established Highland Enterprises as one of Washington County, PA\'s most respected custom-home builders.

The company has built more than 500 homes throughout southwestern Pennsylvania, taking pride in its head- turning exteriors and well- designed floor plans.

\"The biggest compliment to us is when someone we\'ve built a home for comes back to us and asks us to build another one for them,\" said Tim Corbett. \"Over the years, we\'ve have a lot of repeat customers.\"

Recently, Highland Enterprises has built several homes in Sienna Woods, Alto Piano in Cecil Township and Highland Estates in North Strabane Township, PA.

\"Whether it\'s a basement addition, or a 2,500-square-foot house or a huge house, they do it with the same quality,\" said the Sienna Woods mom.

The Sienna Woods home is as much art as it is architecture. It offers a stunning brick and stone exterior featuring a variety of roof pitches. Inside the five-bedroom home, a light-filled foyer and open floor plan allow easy access into the dining room, generously sized breakfast area, and Tuscan-inspired kitchen featuring stainless steel appliances and a faux stone range hood designed by Corbett.
The family room boasts a soaring ceiling and stone fireplace that complements the range hood. A first-floor master bedroom suite features walk-in closets and a spectacular bathroom that includes a glass block walk-in shower and furniture-style vanity and sinks. In addition, the five-and-a-half-bath home features a home theater, recreation room and four-car garage.
Corbett also suggested one of the homeowners\' favorite rooms: a sunroom with a sliding glass door that leads to a deck overlooking the couple\'s one-and-a-half acre yard. He spent hours with the couple selecting a crown molding pattern for the dining room.

The Highland Enterprise builders made use of every square foot of space, putting a home office midway up a winding staircase leading to the second story and adding a sink and dishwasher area to the downstairs bar.
The couple talked or met with Tim nearly every day and especially liked the timeline the Corbetts established, which gave them plenty of time to pick out cabinets, flooring and lighting. \"We spend most of our days on-site, either my brother or I,\" said Tim. That ensures their homes meet their goals of superior quality and craftsmanship.

\"Tim is so accommodating, too. He\'ll come over to check on something and I\'ll say, \'The cabinet door is squeaking,\' and he\'ll say, \'Get me a screwdriver.\' I tell him he\'s like a landlord,\'\" said the homeowner.

Highland Enterprises has partnered with many of its subcontractors for more than a decade, another key factor in turning out consistently fine homes.

Jim\'s son, Daniel Corbett, has joined the team, making Highland Enterprises a third-generation builder. Despite the sour housing market, Highland Enterprises remains busy - a testament to the company\'s durability - and always has two or three speculation homes under construction, built with the same attention to detail and quality of workmanship it pours into its pre-sold homes.

\"I love how this house turned out,\" said the Peters Township mom. \"Down the road, we\'re thinking of adding some things like an outdoor fireplace and patio area, and even though it\'s not a big job, I won\'t hesitate to ask Tim.\"
